This course covers some of the key teachings and foundational concepts of the great Sufi Masters, the mystics of Islam known as the “lovers of the divine,” who, through the example of Prophet Mohammad and through the sacred teachings of the Qur’an, learned how to access the knowledge of the heart and to practice their life in alignment with its message. Designed for those with no knowledge of Sufism, but open to those with prior exposure, this course provides historical context while addressing the core tenets underlying the Sufi way of practicing spiritual awareness to become united with the divine.
